Low Price Oregon Scientific Pedometer with PC Download

This is one fantastic pedometer! First and foremost, the ability to store up to seven days worth activity on the pedometer itself and additionally to be able to download and save all of your activity onto your computer make this pedometer extremely useful and practical. The included software is surprisingly robust and allows you to set all kinds of preferences, alarms, and activity goals; and also offers analysis of your activity versus goals, including graphs. You can use the accompanying base to upload your information or any USB A-B cable. This is great because I can leave my base at home, and use a regular USB cable at work and/or on my laptop without bringing a bulky base.

The pedometer is very compact - about as big as two quarters, but the display is very easy to read with large numbers and letters. It has a variety of modes that you can cycle through, and you can set preferences, goals, timers, alarms, etc. either on the pedometer itself or on the computer with the included software.

I find the pedometer to be nearly perfectly accurate, with no more than one step +/- off for every 100 steps or so - that's incredible! The pedometer is supposed to be able to differentiate between running steps and walking steps, and it does, but it doesn't seem to count my steps when I go jogging as running - only when I run at a faster pace. Since I prefer to jog to keep my impact low, this is the one drawback I've found with the device. Don't get me wrong, it still counts the steps, but when it uploads to the software, it counts my jogging steps as walking ones.

The pedometer is light, but also seems solidly built. The buttons are small, but easy to get used to, and the display is in a position that you can always see it without having to take it off of you first.

Overall, I am really pleased with the quality of the pedometer and the ability to use the goals and software makes it fun and encouraging to get out and stay active. It's really great to see you have met your goals for the day and are on your way to getting healthier. If I had to pick one word to describe this pedometer, I would say it would be "indispensable".

Discount VibraLite 3 Pink Leather Band

My daughter needed a watch that would remind her to go to the bathroom every two hours during the day. In school, her teachers would allow her to get up and go to the bathroom whenever her watch would vibrate. (the vibration was good for alerting her but not everyone else in class). It isn't a small watch (standard size they say), but even though a little large on her wrist, it did what it was intended to do - keep her dry!Get more detail about VibraLite 3 Pink Leather Band.

Cheapest REALISTIC KIDS STETHOSCOPE -Fun Educational Toy for Kids! LIGHTWEIGHT SINGLE-HEAD NURSING STETHOSCOPE - GREEN

Great toy. I bought it for my kids for Christmas and they love it. This one really works, and it's affordable. It's also green, so it's perfect for any little boy and girl. It's definately better than the toy versions. It's held-up really well, even with a 5-year-old playing with it daily. It's one of my kids favorite toys!Get more detail about REALISTIC KIDS STETHOSCOPE -Fun Educational Toy for Kids! LIGHTWEIGHT SINGLE-HEAD NURSING STETHOSCOPE - GREEN.

Cheap Acumen 10K Stepper Plus Pedometer

I bought this product because of a recommendation from a satisfied user. Within the first few days, I had highly recommended it to 2 others. But then a week after I received it, the pedometer stopped working! The stopwatch and clock functions still worked, and switching the battery did not help. Unfortunately, although I emailed Acumen as was required in order to get a shipping number for return and repair under warranty, Acumen never responded. Now I'm out $25 and stuck with a pedometer that doesn't work! Help!Get more detail about Acumen 10K Stepper Plus Pedometer.

Buying Tanita BC534 Glass InnerScan Body Composition Monitor

This scale is accurate when it comes to weight. Although, my body fat seems to fluctuate a lot throughout the day. Some days its 19% others it 23% I'm not sure how accurate that is, but I mean, I guess my body fat is pretty low? Besides that the scale is great. I love that I can see when I've gained a few ounces so that I can get myself back on track before I gain a pound or two. Get more detail about Tanita BC534 Glass InnerScan Body Composition Monitor.

Buy Detecto 438 Balance Beam Doctor/Physician Scale w/ Height Rod & Wheels, 400 lbs, Made in the USA

Bought this so that I could daily weigh myself while dieting. Daily weighing, in my opinion, is very important. And accurate weighing results are equally important to keep one on track. After assembling the well-packed components and calibrating according to directions, I found that these scales were within a 1/2 pound of those used by my WW group and my doctor's office. Can't get better than that. Consistent weighing results every time I step on these scales.

Purchased through Amazon and delievery was actually a day or so earlier than I expected.Get more detail about Detecto 438 Balance Beam Doctor/Physician Scale w/ Height Rod & Wheels, 400 lbs, Made in the USA.

Where To Buy Blood Pressure Baumanometer Inflation Bulb & Valve Parts - 1 ea

When the product arrived it was a different manufacture and color than what was pictured. It also looked of a much cheaper quality. But I needed it now so I used it. The customer rep said the pictures on their web site represent what the item looks like not the actual item. Seeing that it did not cost much it was easier to just forget it. I would be very careful with this company. I will not order from them again. The 2 stars are for the fast shipping.Get more detail about Blood Pressure Baumanometer Inflation Bulb & Valve Parts - 1 ea.

Shop For Mabis Healthcare Instant Ear Thermometer, White

We have owned this thermometer for over a year now and it's slowly angered me more and more each time my daughter gets sick. This unit is always inconsistent. I always have to take her temperature in each ear and the results are never the same. Today for instance I got a reading of 99.9 in one ear (no fever) and 101.3 in the other (fever!) I am aware that taking temperatures in the ear often gives a less accurate reading but these two readings are no where near each other. My daughter has become quite accustomed to having her temperature read in both ears so much so, that she asks the doctor to do both when she sees him. The screen is easy to read in the middle of the night but it's no helpful when the readings are so inaccurate. The "one simple" button thing is obnoxious. My daughter was playing with it and switched it to Celsius and it was all but near impossible to switch it back. Doing the conversion at 2:30 a.m. was not an enjoyable experience for us. I say skip this unit- it's a waste of your hard earned money, your time and, most importantly, your patience. Patience you'll need when your little ones are sick.qGet more detail about Mabis Healthcare Instant Ear Thermometer, White.

Baseline HiRes 180 degree clear plastic pocket goniometer, 6 inches Review

Once again, in my search for goniometers, I purchased a product based on the advertised picture and received a completely different product. You should all know that you are not buing the lovely goniometer pictured with the nice large degree gauge. These goniometers are very small and the degree gauge is very hard to read. I will not purchase from this provider again.Get more detail about Baseline HiRes 180 degree clear plastic pocket goniometer, 6 inches.

Drive Knee Walker - Standard (300 lb. weight capacity) - A14803 01 Top Quality

The knee walker was reasonably priced, well made and sturdy. It was easy to assemble. When the back wheels are on the outer leg setting, the walker is very stable. It took about 10 days to arrive with the free shipping, probably because I'm in California, and it shipped from the east coast. The only problem it had was that it doesn't steer. It was well worth the money though. I wouldn't have paid the extra $300 for a knee walk/er that did steer. Get more detail about Drive Knee Walker - Standard (300 lb. weight capacity) - A14803 01.

Polar CS200cad Cycling Computer Heart Rate Monitor with Cadence Immediately

I'm a user of the CS-400 for several years. I swap the receiver between my road bike and my mountain bike. It has two wheel diameter set-ups but fortunately both my bikes have identical circumferences. I want to try to offset any complaint that the sensor does not work well. Actually, it might require some adjustment of the location so I have a few tips. I've used the CS-400 for years and had zero problems after setup. Setup can be somewhat frustrating sometimes though. That's why I decided to enter my two cents here.

1. Mount the sender/transmitter/pickup device and the monitor on the same side of the bike. These guys don't work very well if there's material between the two. Make sure the monitor is overhanging the handlebar or it can't "see" the transmitter. I can imagine that a fat road bike bar wrapped with rubber tape might cause the unit to be hidden from direct view of the fork-mounted transmitter.
2. Locate/position/install the transmitter very close to the magnet. As close as possible without clicking as it spins past the transmitter. A light will flash one time for each time there's a signal pick up when you're testing to see if there's a pick up between the magnet and the fork-mounted transmitter. Sweet! When the wheel rotates past the transmitter, a dim red light flashes one time. This tells you that the sensor/transmitter is picking up the signal from the magnet. Spint the wheel a few times and you'll hear a beep from the monitor as it automatically turns on. You have to set the program to AutoStart for this "beep-on" feature to work. After a few flashes, the light goes to sleep so if you're still testing after a few minutes you might not get the flash so don't think it's not working. Let it rest a few minutes and start again and you'll see the dim red light flash if the magnet is properly placed.
3. I like to use zip ties to install the hardware but beware, zip ties slip unless pulled very tight with a zip-tie puller which is basicaly a plier-type tool that grabs the tail of the zip and tugs it as tight as you dare to squeeze the handles. Buy or borrow one and the zips will hold forever. Fail to pull zips super tight is a guarantee that something will move after a while.
4. I don't know what kind of cadence magnet they are currently sending in this kit but mine was a tiny flat rectangular shaped magnet with sticky tape and a band of adhesive tape to wrap around the crank arm. Not good enough. A shop gave me a better crank arm magnet which is housed in plastic with a slot for a zip tie. See if you can find one of these for a better way to fasten it to your crank arm.
