Low Price Sportline 340 Strider Pedometer

These are very cheap pedometers, but even though I find they twist on my clothes, get dislodged, and other things that keep them from counting properly on irregular stepping, I have found that they are as reliable as the much more expensive ones. Some of the more expensive highly rated ones would only count consistent, regular steps - but I wanted something that counted my steps all day, regular or not. This is the best that I have tried, and I have tried many. I have been wearing a pedometer (mostly this model) for three years, every day. They are small, lightweight and don't make a big bulge in clothing (important to me).Get more detail about Sportline 340 Strider Pedometer.

Save Polar FT40 Women's Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Green)

I absolutely love my Polar FT40. Very easy to set up and use, comfortable, and extremely helpful. I highly recommend it - plus, when the battery dies (battery life of approx 1 year), you won't have to send it in to the manufacturer to have it replaced. This is one of a few models that contains a battery that the user can replace. Score!Get more detail about Polar FT40 Women's Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Green).

Discount DMC-03 Multi-Function Pedometer (color: BLACK)

Product counts every minor shake and movement as a step; not an accurate counter of steps taken. Customer Service was quick to respond, but will not refund $3 in shipping for a substandard product.Get more detail about DMC-03 Multi-Function Pedometer (color: BLACK).

Cheapest MABIS 3M Littmann Stethoscope Identification Tag, Black

Save your money. This is a piece of junk. You pay for it once - $10 - then you have to send it back and pay again to get it engraved. I was stupid enough to try this twice for different stethoscopes and never received any of the engraved labels back.Get more detail about MABIS 3M Littmann Stethoscope Identification Tag, Black.

Buy Polar FT80 Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Black)

I have owned this product for 9 months, and it is my second Polar product. This watch has been a great purchase, and I am very satisfied with its performance. I use the watch for general fitness (6 workouts per week 3 cardio and 3 strength). The contrast is great for almost all situations (the backlight works for all others).

It provides great motivation to get my workouts in, and it keeps me honest when I don't.

Pros:
- The training program is a huge step forward - it monitors and adapts to your weekly activity level
- Strength training - I bought the watch for the strength training capabilities, and I am very satisfied. I like the ability to load workouts and see the recommended start times
- Data tracking - Polar does a great job of tracking all workout progress on the watch and on their website www.polarpersonaltrainer.com - the watch synchs easily to the site, and the available data is extensive and motivating
- Easy to read watch - I wear the watch unit most of the time

Cons:
- Swimming - the device doesn't work for me when swimming, the chest strap won't stay in place when I push off the walls - not allowing me to use the product in the pool
- Battery life - I've already had to replace the battery in the watch unit (my previous Polar is still on its first battery)... battery replacement was simple.

If I could use the watch while swimming, it would easily be 5 stars.Get more detail about Polar FT80 Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Black).

Purchase StressEraser Portable Biofeedback Device

I bought this product after learning about the subject of heart coherence from HeartMath. The writers at HeartMath claim one of the best ways to enter coherence is to focus on feelings of love, appreciation, gratitude or compassion. What I have noticed when I am using the StressEraser is that if I am not looking at the screen but am instead only using the beeping sound to know when to exhale while mentally focusing the way HeartMath recommends, my readings usually go into the 2-3 cube territory and my breathing naturally starts to match my HRV w/o my trying to do so. When I am actively looking at the screen and using my eyes to watch the HRV line go up and down to time my breathing, the coherence is not nearly as good.

So I enjoy that function. The LED screen is nice, but is somewhat distracting. I notice when I am getting jagged readings in my heart rate variability, closing my eyes and focusing on positive emotions puts me back into coherence.

But that raises the question of do I even need a biofeedback device if simply focusing on positive emotions puts me in coherence. But having a string of 2 and 3 cubes in the upper right corner when I open my eyes is nice to see and shows that I have been entering coherence.

So all in all, the device seems to work but it seems to more 'record' my meditations rather than 'guide' them. When I am entering coherence by focusing on positive emotions, my breathing and HRV sync up naturally and I really don't think I even need a biofeedback device at that point.

Order ACCUSPLIT Eagle AE1640M4 Step and Distance Pedometer

This was my fourth pedometer purchase and I LOVE IT. It is the most accurate pedometer I have had and I even took it with us on our rim to rim hike in the Grand Canyon. It calculated every step! My Mom also hasn't had any luck in pedometers so she received one for Christmas this year. I would recommend this item to anyone that is a serious walker/hiker.Get more detail about ACCUSPLIT Eagle AE1640M4 Step and Distance Pedometer.

Shop For Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer 1 ea

It is impossible to get a temperature reading from either of my children, ages 1 and 3, because they won't hold still. Also, even on me or my husband, two readings, taken back to back, can vary as much as 1 degree. Why even bother? I bought a Braun Thermoscan Ear Thermometer - IRT4520, which you put in the ear like the nurse does at the Pediatrician's office, and I love it. It is worth the extra $25 to be sure you are getting an accurate reading.Get more detail about Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer 1 ea.

ACCUSPLIT AE170 Pedometer with Steps, Distance, and Calories Burned Best Quality

This Accusplit is a good one that appears to be very accurate. I've used this model previously; that's why I sent for this one.

Beware of the Accusplit pedometer that has the buttons on the side. I ordered that one first--and good luck trying to set it.Get more detail about ACCUSPLIT AE170 Pedometer with Steps, Distance, and Calories Burned.

BD Digital Basal Thermometer Get it now!

I'm a big fan of digital thermometers. This one is very easy to use. Just press the button and put it in your mouth, and when it has your temp. it beeps quickly. Then you can leave it on the nightstand until you are ready to mark your temperature chart. If you want to note your temp. right away, press the button and the screen lights up, so you can see the number.

I also found the directions in the box to be a very helpful explaination of how to use the thermometer and how to use the temperature chart.Get more detail about BD Digital Basal Thermometer.
