Bought one of these for my daughter. Good looking watch, seems to be well built, solid. EKG function is not always 'on demand' as it takes some finesse/luck to coaxe a heart rate from the watch (on her wrist AND mine).
Not a deal breaker, but you should be aware:
Advertised, you're led to believe it also displays the calendar day/date, and the back of the product box also alludes to these features, but the product manual says nothing about them. Nada. This smaller HRM watch only has two buttons (used to check heart rate) and an analog set knob...it is not designed with the same pushbutton located on the upper left side of its larger sibling, the Bowflex Ana Digit Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Regular) [...]product . The larger watch uses this button to set the calendar day/date (12/24 hour option). Without that particular button, and no printed instructions, I tried every feasible combination of button pushing to no avail.
If anyone has unlocked the mystery of how to display and set the calendar day/date on this thing, please be so kind as to enighten me. In the meantime, I'm just going with the assumption that every website selling this HRM watch is adding non-existant features.
:)
(PS - I bought the larger Bowflex HRM and sent it back...when the minute hand was on the '12' - the hour hand was way past any corresponding hour numeral, I'd estimate by 20 minutes).
