This scale is all we need. We did not want anything other than an accurate and repeatable scale that was easy to read. I wieghed myself 10 times within an hour and the reading was exactly the same each time even when moved from the livingroom (hardwood floor) to the bathroom (tile floor). One thing though was that the description on Amazon states it has a steel base but it does not. Doesn't matter though because the scale works perfect and does not feel flimsey like most other out there. I really like the "click" you can feel and hear when tapping the scale to activate it.
