Breeze 2 Blood Glucose Monitoring System [Health and Beauty] This instant

The picture shown is different than the one shown when I ordered this. I can handle that. But from looking at the box I have, it says "1 Kit" and shows the 10-test disc even stating on the box "10-Test Disc for No Strip Handling." This leads me to believe, and would anyone who wishes to order this product, that the disc is included.

But look at the lower left and it says, "Uses Ascensia Breeze 2 Blood Glucose Test Strips (Not Included)." The disc is definitely NOT included.

A "kit" without a disc doesn't help if you can't use it immediately to check your blood glucose levels. I personally don't mind buying the discs. Others might. I won't discourage anyone from buying this product. Just be aware that you will need to purchase the disc separately.

EDIT: Have received my test strips and performed my first blood glucose test. The meter is easy to set up and use.It doesn't require coding which is great for those of us who want one less thing to think about. Discs are easy to insert. Test strips come up easily. It does take some getting used to tho. You have to center the strip and your drop of blood exactly to be sure sample goes in. I've found the lancets for this meter are sharper and thinner than those for my previous meters. Still, this is so easy to use. Carrying case has plenty of room for testing supplies. Am thrilled with it.Get more detail about Breeze 2 Blood Glucose Monitoring System [Health and Beauty].

The First Years American Red Cross 5-second Rectal Thermometer Immediately

This thermometer is simply the best digital thermometer I have ever used. It's accurate and consistent. The only problem is that I used it so much that the battery started to drain and the readings took longer to take. The battery is almost dead now, and I can't figure out how to replace the battery. But it's less than $10, but in our green-society why would we want to throw away a whole thermometer for the sake of a dead battery?Get more detail about The First Years American Red Cross 5-second Rectal Thermometer.

BOA 2000 Hi-Speed Professional Jump Rope (9 foot) Best Quality

I have had at least 4 other jump ropes - one beaded fell apart, the others were too light and difficult to adjust. I didn't want a speed rope so if that is what you are looking for - this won't be it. It is not heavy either. It's just perfect - it doesn't get tangled at all, I didn't have to adjust it (i got the 9 ft, i'm 5'6"), but if it hits - yowch!

It's perfect, just perfect.Get more detail about BOA 2000 Hi-Speed Professional Jump Rope (9 foot).

Vibralite 3 Vibration Watch with Velcro Band - Light Blue/White Get it now!

If you are buying this for an elderly relative, think twice. Although it is easy to put on and take off (thanks to the velcro strap), the directions for setting it are a nightmare and the buttons for setting times are too small for an elderly person to use. The digital display is also very small especially for those with weak eyesight.Get more detail about Vibralite 3 Vibration Watch with Velcro Band - Light Blue/White.

Samsung Healthy Living BWB-5007 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor with Irregular Heartbeat Detector Buy Now

I have used this for almost a year. I take daily readings and record/graph them. From what I have read, taking B/P at the wrist is less accurate than at the upper arm. So some inconsistancy is goes with sampling at the wrist. I have done comparisons with this monitor and a standard B/P cuff. Both at home and in the doctors office. My Samsung seems to consistantly read a bit low. Even with training and experience in using a B/P arm cuff there are variables make the readings subject to interpretation. So there does not seem to be a 100% accurate way measure B/P time after time.

So how is this usefull? By taking my B/P with this unit in a consistant manner, i.e. same body position, same time of the day, same wrist, etc. I get readings that are relevent to each other. I can detect trends up or down. Since this unit also measures pulse rate I get that feed back as well.

I keep this bedside. Upon waking in the morning while still relaxed, before coffee, etc. I take my B/P and pulse. The resting pulse rate is good feedback on whether I am overtraining and the B/P gives me info for my doctor.

Recommended with the caviot that one understands readings may not agree with B/P cuff. I have not had any reliability issues with the functions of the monitor and it is very simple to use.Get more detail about Samsung Healthy Living BWB-5007 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor with Irregular Heartbeat Detector.

>Criticaid clear. Critic-Aid Clear Moisture Barrier Ointment Order Now

We got a sample of this in the hospital, in Canada, and within a day my son's diaper rash had cleared up completely. I can't find this product on the shelves here at all, so I always order it from Amazon.com. It is the only cream/moisture barrier I will ever use. At the first sign of redness, apply this and the redness will be gone before the day is done. The tubes also last a really long time. I really can't rave enough about how much better this is than every other moisture barrier on the market. Awesome!!Get more detail about >Criticaid clear. Critic-Aid Clear Moisture Barrier Ointment.

Mabis 15-736-000 Nine Second Flexible Tip Digital Thermometer Decide Now

We bought this thermometer but when it arrived it didn't work. We figured that since the thermometer was so inexpensive, it would be cheaper to just replace the battery rather than pay to send the thing back. Well, even after the battery was replaced it only worked for about a month. I think we finally got disgusted and threw the thing away. A total waste of money!Get more detail about Mabis 15-736-000 Nine Second Flexible Tip Digital Thermometer.

Low Price Safety 1st Prograde Complete Family Thermometer

I recently purchased this thermometer. After setting the time and reading the instructions I attached the oral tip and received an error message. After several attempts and several tip replacements, the thermometer still did not work. I am returning this thermometer. I will continue to use the $10 Safety 1st thermometer that I have always used. It is accurate and is very easy to use, even on a fussy baby.Get more detail about Safety 1st Prograde Complete Family Thermometer.

Save Vicks Comfort Flex Digital Thermometer

Out of the package this thermometer read low (96.8 and 97 degrees without the supplied probe covers) on 2 different human subjects instead of between 97.6F to 98.8F expected for healthy humans. Over the course of 15 minutes, using the oral method with one human subject, where the probe was inserted under the tongue with enough force to cause minor discomfort, the readings varied from 96.9F to 97.5F on repeated insertions and measurements. Given this, I can not rely on this thermometer to accurately gauge temperature for anyone with illness. More testing is needed, with an accurate temperature reference. However, human trials are the most realistic in terms of intended usage, and this data points to an accuracy issue for the Vicks thermometer. Aside from the accuracy concern, it has nice features such as a flexible tip, acoustic signals, and an easy to read display.

(Following this review, I purchased a German-made Geratherm Mercury-free oral thermometer, initial tests indicate very accurate readings {98.2F for a healthy human}. The downside to this thermometer is that it requires 180 seconds to read, the upside is that it does not require batteries and it appears to be very accurate. After years of purchasing useless electronic thermometers, I finally have one that is accurate!)Get more detail about Vicks Comfort Flex Digital Thermometer.

Discount Cateye MSC-HR10 Multi-Sport Heart Rate Monitor

I purchased this in August 2008 to replace my failing Polar HR monitor. I have ridden my bike nearly 1500 miles since then and this thing is so unreliable that I have gone back to my failing, now less than reliable Polar.

It has always been difficult to use compared to other (Polar) monitors that I have had. The instructions are very poor and do not explain the features in much detail. It tells you how to set it up and the rest is up to you. Some features are obvious, others are not.

It does have the now standard calories burned nonsense (it is not accurate, but more a rough estimate.) It has a useless feature called a "fitness index" which, in this thing, is based on your age and the self-assessed "activity score" you enter. 2+ hours per week is high!!!!It also has a "lock" feature with which you can accidentally lock it from reading your HR. Hopefully you will have thoroughly read and memorized the manual or brought it along with you if you do so, because you won't likely be able to figure out the problem and how to solve it if you haven't.

Mine appears to be excessively sensitive to any electric interference. The maximum HR is always wrong---up to 230bpm---at times. This naturally distorts the average HR. This has happened every single ride I have been on with this thing, no matter the location; urban or rural. It does the same thing when I jog with it. The Polar models I have used show very few such false readings in the same areas.

It has began to fail completely this week--about 3 months after purchase. At items, I can no longer bring up the stopwatch feature. I will refuses to start measuring the heart rate. At other times, it cannot read any signal. Or it will read at over 220 bpm for an entire ride. A reset sometimes cures it at least temporarily, but then I have lost half of the data.

Even though Polar is nearly twice as expensive, and generally less than 100% reliable, the ones I have used surpass this by far. I will be trash-canning this one and going back to Polar. At least they last more than 3 months and I can generally trust one of them.Get more detail about Cateye MSC-HR10 Multi-Sport Heart Rate Monitor.

Cheap GE 29281FE1 Basic Corded Slimline Phone with CID (Black)

Bought this phone for our kitchen, along with a longer cord because this one looked pretty short. The website even suggested a cord to purchase along with this phone. When we got the phone, we realized that you couldn't unpug the cord from the phone without dismantling the phone. One end of the cord is actually internal, so no changing out the cord. The cord is so short you can't move more than a few feet from the phone.Get more detail about GE 29281FE1 Basic Corded Slimline Phone with CID (Black).

Buying Suunto X6HRT Heart Rate Wrist-Top Computer Watch with Altimeter, Barometer, Compass, and PC-Interface

Description appears to be Suunto X6HRM (M is for Metal), but the item shipped is in fact Suunto X6HR. I sent it back asking for the good item (which cost me 80, more than 100$) and I had a refund.

Thanks a lot it cost me a lot for ... nothing.

Buy Ramsey ECG1 Electrocardiogram Heart Monitor Kit

I bought one of these and hooked up to the sound card of my computer. Now I can see some what of a waveform giving me pulse rate and some idea of the Qt and rr intervals. If you plan on using this for audio output only, you will notice some buzz noise along with the heart contraction noise. It was pretty easy to put together as long as you have a soldering iron and wire snippers. Also you will have to supply a battery to make it work. Purchase Robic Pedometer with Body Mass Calculator

I just ordered this pedometer and discovered that not only does the step function not work accurately (it said I went about 3 steps for every one actually taken), but the fat % & BMI calculators were way off base. I had my fat % done recently by a fitness trainer and it was at least 10% points off. I realize that it won't be 100% accurate and could vary by a couple of % points, however 10% is unacceptable. I shipped the item back the same day I received it and will stick to a basic pedometer without all the fancy features that can accurately measure how many steps I actually DO take. Don't waste your money or your time on this product! Get more detail about Robic Pedometer with Body Mass Calculator.

Order ACCUSPLIT Eagle AE1790WPR Steps; Distance; and Calorie Pedometer

I purchased a pedometer from Accusplit. I could not get it to work and called for tech support. Tech support told it was not working because it was not "level" in reference to the ground. I used a 4 inch level to make sure it was correct, still didn't work. I called tech support a second time and the tech said send it back and we will send you a new one. I sent it back and I have not received a new one (3 weeks as of this review). The reason, Accusplit can't find my package and won't release a replacement until they do. No one would take responsiblity to replace a $20.00 item that they can't find.Get more detail about ACCUSPLIT Eagle AE1790WPR Steps; Distance; and Calorie Pedometer.
