I purchased this based on function, price and reviews. However, the thermometer I got was about .2 degrees off (readings would be .2 degrees higher than other digital thermometers and also the one at my Doctor's office.) It just quit working after about three months of almost-daily use. I thought the battery had gone dead, so I replaced it but thermometer still didn't work. BD's customer service did not only act like they didn't care, they offered absolutely no help. I wouldn't buy again.Get more detail about BD Basal Digital Thermometer.
