This product is unreliable and there is no customer service. I would return it but I threw away the box. I will now have to throw away the monitor too.
The 3 readings for cholesterol that I took with this machine were 180, 140 and Low. My true cholesterol reading is around 210. I tried to contact the customer service phone number but it just rings and rings and nobody answers. I tried for a week with no answer. Today a chinese lady with broken english answered the phone and told me the manager will call me back next week. We're at 26 weeks in our pregnancy and have owned this scope for about two weeks. One of the previous reviews mentioned he could hear his baby using this scope (but doesn't mention gestational date), but we've had no such luck. I know for a fact that my baby's size (which is on the big side) and placental positioning (right posterior) would make us excellent candidates for hearing the baby with the scope at this point. Heck the baby book says an ear to the tummy could hear the baby. But we can't hear a thing with this scope.

I works fine to listen to our own heart beats, so I can't knock it there.

The 'hurt' is with regard to the earbuds. It's like this thing was manufactured to enter directly into the skull via the ears. Though there are a number of earbud attachment options, none of them makes using this item comfortable.
