I have Metabolic Syndrome and need to monitor my glucose so I don't become diabetic. Medicare wouldn't pay so I found this meter. I talked with 2 pharacist's and both recommended it as a quality meter that was accurate. Said not to buy off brands. Amazon also has good price for the strips.
I was surprised at how painless it is to use the lancet. The kit has 10 strips that were in date. A case, 10 mico lancets, the microlance 2, log book , easy to understand instructions.
