This scale is being used by a weight loss chapter of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). Some members wish to keep their weight private so this remote readout takes care of that problem. Our weigh-in goes much faster than when we used a balance scale. Our scale is not locked up between weekly use so in an abundance of caution, it is a simple matter to disconnect the readout portion for our Weight Recorder to take it home.
