I've had my 629 for three years. I've had it in my doctors office to compare against their equipment, at hospital, and at home with Home Health to compare to. My 629 is always within a point or so of the "professional" equipment it tested against. I trust it very much. In fact, I have caught the pro's with bad readings with my 629.
The 629 is durable and simple to use. I think the people that complain about bad readings are not using it correctly. Reading the directions always helps, and paying attention to how it is mounted on the wrist also.
