I bought this item thinking it would be a great training aid. Step one was to insert the battery into the case on the GPS unit. It took me half an hour and very sore fingers to get the battery door shut after inserting the battery! Thinking at least I probably wouldn't have to do it that often, I then read in the manual it needs to be replaced after 12 hours! No way am I going to do that battle so often. Also, the unit took forever to pick up satellites on the two occasions when I tried to use it and the arm strap for the GPS unit is quite short. Not a user friendly device. I returned it and bought a Garmin Forerunner 305 instead. I love it! It is easy to use, quickly picks up satellites and is very comfortable to wear, even on a small wrist like mine. I've used it twice since I received it two days ago, once on a 9.5 mile run and am so happy with it. The computer software works beautifully on my Mac.
