I have used other reachers. This one is definitely superior. I bought two for myself and two for my mother. If I could afford it, I would buy one for every vertically challenged person in the world. It does everything it says it will do, including picking up heavier objects. My husband picked up a dime that was lying flat on the floor. I have one in my office and one folded up in the car.
