I had heard a lot of horror stories about using my Polar 725x with mac. I purchased the 2.0 irDa adapter, searched Polar's website for the drivers (didn't want to mess with transferring the files from the tiny CD provided), downloaded, installed, ran the ProTrainer 5.0 software and synchronized immediately. No reboot, no muss, no fuss. I use the latest version of VMWare (which I recommend VERY strongly as an emulator) and all works perfectly. Haven't tried it with Snow Leopard yet - waiting till that little semi-fiasco is straightened out.Get more detail about Polar IrDA USB Adapter Interface.
