Save Taylor 7331 Lithium Scale

I bought this scale less than a month ago and am totally ready to pitch it this morning. I thought I was going to love this simple scale. I do love its big display and the fact that it measures in .2 lb increments. However, it simply doesn't work right. It gets itself stuck on a reading and says that over and over for days until I got suspicious and pulled out my old Tanita scale to verify the Taylor. (I had the Tanita in a charity box to give away. I won't now.) The Taylor scale was very wrong in its reading. For over a week now, I have been using two scales each morning and trying to get a proper reading from the Taylor but it won't stablilze. This morning at first it weighed me at .8 lbs over the Tanita. Then after moving it around and resetting it a few times, it is weighing me at 1 whole lb UNDER the Tanita. How screwy is that? And for a dieter, it's a disaster. Although I like the Taylor scale's features better, what really counts is the accuracy. So I guess the Taylor is headed for the charity box and the old Tanita will be back in the bedroom.Get more detail about Taylor 7331 Lithium Scale.
