Purchased unit online at a deal a day site. I was skeptically because it said that it required no chest strap, but also indicated continious monitoring of your heart rate. Reality is it's only continious IF you place your fingers on the sensor pads on the face, so it really only does a spot check.
It does have some nice sport features like a pacer mode where you can set it like a metronome to set your cadence. It also does split chrono nicely. Large display is a plus.
Bottom line is if you really want to monitor your heart rate exertion zones, don't bother with this unit. Get more detail about Rawlings Digital HEART RATE / PULSE WATCH.
