This was my second basal thermometer. I successfully charted, both to avoid, and to conceive. The best thermometer was the Walgreens brand. This one, which I bought after having my first child and losing my first thermometer, seemed to fluctuate wildly. I even went so far as to simultaneously take my temperature with all 4 thermometers I had in my house, and this one was off, but inconsistenly. Sometimes only 0.2 degrees, sometimes as much as a whole degree or more. Not to mention it only holds the last temp in memory, compared to the 5 that the Walgreen's brand stores.
