I'm not sure when I got my first one but it was at a conference in Houston... OMG!!! It's great!!! I Have bought prior amplified stethoscopes from starkey and such... this stethoscope is so far superior that I bought 2 more the next time I went to the conference - one for a back up and one as a gift... and then the following year bought another two... And I will probably do it again next year... Infact, one of the highlights for the conference is to buy another one or two... I do not usually go by a booth at a conference and just to give personal recomendations for a product... but when you have an item that has such a big impact on my practice... I have to say I can't be without it!...the fact that it uses regular batteries and has a shut off to save the batteries ( the shut off can be made to last longer if needed) I did have a ear part break at the base on the first one that I owned (they have fixed this problem from what I can see on later scopes that I own) but I called and sent it in and it was sent back with reasonable time repaired... but I was also prepared with a back up... It'a a great teaching stethoscope as well!!! It has an adaptor that they can plug into... OMG!!! I can not rave any more about thist product ... I've been meaning to do this for some time... If you know any medical personal with a hearing loss or just if you want to make sure you hear what you are supposed to hear - then you really must get this for them or yourself!!! :o)Get more detail about Thinklabs Electronic Digital Stethoscope.
