I purchased this scale strictly for the large platform. I was tired of having to balance myself on a 10" platform, which is average for regular scales, so I decided to try a different one.
This scale is an excellent value and is very accurate. It compares with my other scales weight-wise, and only takes a couple of seconds to calibrate. The extra large platform is comfortable and the digital readout is very easy to see.
