Cheap Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor

I got it to track my heart beats when I'm bicycling for pleasure. I just need it to know when I'm "in the zone." I guess it does tell me that, but it's extraordinarily erratic, bouncing up and down 20 or so beats per minute several times per minute. I can get a fairly decent idea of whether I'm in the 105 to 115 zone versus the 130 to 150 zone, but it can't do much more than that for me. It may be that I have the world's most erratic heart, but my hunch is that it just isn't all that great or precise an instrument. I can even sit still, meditate, and watch it vary by 10 beats per minute in the course of a minute, up and down, up and down. But hey, I bought the low price spread so I can't complain that it's not butter.....Get more detail about Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor.
