I bought this 2 months ago and it's great! Very consistent and reliable. It has a blue backlight and beeps every 4 seconds during the 1 min. and lots of tiny beeps when it's done and has a memory. My only complaint was the beeping was a little loud, very easily fixed by putting a little piece of scotch tape on the back where the small hole is. That cut down the sounds by half, but enough where I can still hear it (which is important to make sure your in the right spot.)
