It seemed fine out of the box, and I'm not sure I can return it anymore since it's been a few months and I've thrown the box away, but it's grown steadily more inaccurate. Last month it weighed everyone 5 lbs to heavy. Now it weighs everyone 10 lbs too heavy. (I'm not putting on weight, if that's what you're thinking). It's breaking down, and I've had it for 4 months!!!
It's cheap scale that's badly made, dispite being more expensive, heavy and looking well made.
All I wanted was a scale that told accurate weight. I'd given up on electronic models, and this one is even worse than the electronic onces. Maybe I can get lucky and get them to replace it for me.
