I've been an RN for nearly 30 years so have taken many blood pressures. This one was different from any handheld cuff I'd used since it is digital. I have to remember to turn it on before I apply it to the patient or it doesn't work right....that is not a problem. It pumped up more easily than any cuff I'd ever used but it also let the air out just as easily so took me 2 tries to learn to control that valve...not a problem. Big enough display for "older" eyes. Two nice features-backlit so can see at night easily AND automatic pulse-real time saver especially if counting respirations isn't necessary. My only complaint would be that it comes only with a standard cuff which isn't big enough for large arms-of course, it can be easily switched to another cuff if you have one.
